The appointment ceremony of chief scientist was held
At 10:00 a.m. on March 29, 2017, and the appointment ceremony of Yuanzhi Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Livecom, was held in Shanghai conference room. Dr. Ding Ying, a research fellow of knowledge transfer at the University of Glasgow and professor of Northwest University of China, was appointed as the chief scientist of the company. Chen Jiang, director of Yuanzhi Information Technology, and Zhao Tao, general manager, attended the appointment ceremony.

Professor Ding's main research fields are compact semiconductor ultrafast laser source, biomedical nonlinear imaging application of ultrashort optical pulse, quantum dot Nano photonics, high-speed optical fiber communication optoelectronic devices, silicon-based photon integration (transfer film technology), 3-5 micron mid infrared gas sensor, terahertz technology, etc.

At the appointment ceremony, general manager Zhao Tao first gave a welcome speech to welcome Professor Ding Ying. Then Professor Ding Ying introduced his research content and achievements, and said that he was honored to join Yuanzhi. Dr. Ding Ying graduated from the Institute of semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005, and obtained a Doctor's degree in engineering. His tutor is a famous optoelectronic expert in China, Academician Wang Wei.
