Assist medical aid in Africa with professional communication technology and services ----The 2022World Young Scientist Summit International Forum on C

On 11 December 2022, the 2022 WORLD YOUNG SCIENTIST SUMMIT Health Forum "International Forum on Trauma Repair and Regenerative Medicine" was held in China Gene Pharmacy Valley. In line with the goal of the World Summit of Young Scientists, the forum focused on the Belt and Road Initiative, international cooperation in health care, medical education and other areas. The forum gathered more than 300 scientists, academicians, foreign aid experts, social welfare organizations and 30 Chinese and African counterpart hospital cooperation mechanism project leaders from many countries and regions.

During the forum, Mr. Lei Yuxin, General Manager of LiveCom's Product Department, shared with the audience how LiveCom's professional telecommunication technology and services ensure the smooth implementation of medical aid in Africa. In this process, the medical team, hospital headquarters and communication service providers need to cooperate with each other to solve the difficulties and challenges in the medical aid work on the frontline in Africa. Meanwhile, in order to ensure the quality of long-distance communication between China and Africa, the advanced WAN communication technology and strong localization service are required. LiveCom and Wenzhou Medical University jointly establish Internet + Healthcare Cross Border Multiple Solutions so as to provide Internet medical and health services for any enterprises who need this service.

In response to the various difficult scenarios for medical aid hospitals in Africa, LiveCom and Wenzhou Medical University developed a customized telemedicine solution to share quality medical resources and knowledge through real-time interactive technology, solving the problem of uneven medical resources. On the evening of August 3, 2022, the cooperation project between the Department of Traumatic Prosthetics of Wenzhou Medical University and its non-China counterpart hospital ushered in a new milestone: the SDWAN satellite network telemedicine platform jointly built with LiveCome has been put into use officially. Through this platform, Wenzhou Medical University and the China-Central African Republic Friendship Hospital held the first online exchange meeting for the joint construction project on trauma infection and repair specialties. Through the dedicated satellite network, members of the Wenzhou Medical University project team carried out in-depth exchanges with the director of the China-Central African Friendship Hospital, trainees to China and the medical team, ensuring the smooth implementation of the work and cooperation between the two sides.

After more than ten years of continuous investment, LiveCom has built an integrated three-dimensional network consisting of satellite system, satellite ground station and ground backbone network, of which the satellite system has covered more than 60% of the global satellite coverage area, and full coverage in Africa except for the Sahara region, as well as the ground backbone network covering all major cities around the world. For Africa aided medical hospitals, LiveCom will continue to upgrade the network technology and services to provide different solutions for different business scenarios, including video emergency, interactive diagnosis and treatment, remote consultation, surgical demonstration, live medical training and other services for counterpart Africa medical aided hospitals, working together with domestic and foreign medical aid hospitals to build a connected and beneficial health community of shared future.
